May 22, 2010 Ringger-Hudson Wedding
The Cannery Ballroom - Nashville, TN
I had the pleasure of working with Matt Hudson & Laura Ringger, a truly unique couple, to help plan and execute their truly unique "theateresque" wedding. From
the beginning, Laura and Matt had a very clear vision for their wedding day and knew they wanted to put on a show for their guests, deviating away from a typical wedding ceremony. The couple brought
their creative ideas to the table and incorporated theatrical elements into the entire event from the wedding invitations to the fabulous stage adorned with drapery and lights where the couple
said their vows.
The night started out with a video that the couple helped to create where they reinacted the significant moments in their relationship from the first date (and a trip to Walmart) to the proposal. The video was set to music that felt like
you were watching a Charlie Chaplin movie. The night continued with delicious food from Fiesta's Catering, music by DJ Ken as well as live entertainment by the Space Capones.
Other vendors to be thanked for a fabulous evening are Events Plus (drapery), Party Providers (rental), The Cannery Ballroom (venue) and Sarah B. Gilliam (photography).

June 4, 2010 Crowley-Watson Wedding
Canonsburgh Village, Murfreesboro, TN
Jared Watson and Elena Crowley wanted to have a rustic outdoor wedding and found the perfect venue in Murfreesboro called Canonsburgh Village. This cluster of structures dating back to the early to late 19th century,
had been carefully preserved and brought to this location to form a little "frontier village", the perfect place
for a summer wedding.
Thanks to the wonderful vendors that helped make this wedding a success--Jo's Cakes & Catering (and her amazing staff) for providing the food, Cupcake Collection, the ladies of Cannonsburgh Village and folks at Middle TN Realtors Association (reception location).
Mackenzie Miller and Luke Gustafson chose the War Memorial Building and Legistative Plaza as the
perfect backdrop for their fun, summer wedding. This young couple, graduates of the University of Tennessee, wanted to incorporate
touches of their alma matter into the decor and entertainment with table centerpieces holding sliced oranges, and one-man-band Taul Paul (a Knoxville icon). After a lovely ceremony on the plaza that overlooked downtown Nashville, the "party"
started and lasted well into the night.
A special thanks to Alexander's Catering, Cupcake Collection, Art Pancake Rentals, Vintage Florals, Expressive Moments Photography, Tall Paul, JD's Music and The Sheraton Downtown.
