Talk about a fun couple! Megan and Matt are not only young, but young at heart and know how to have a good time. From the beginning they knew they wanted to incorporte
traditional, Southern elements into their wedding but make sure it was also a "fun", laid back party and we were able to accompliish just that! Lillie Belle's, an old house in the heart of historic Franklin, is an elegant and charming venue especially in the Spring when everything is in full bloom. The couple said their "I-do's" in the back tented courtyard surrounded by lush gardens, after which the guests
enjoyed a cocktail hour on the front lawn. The food was set up inside the house which allowed the guests to explore this unique home.
It didn't take long for the party to get started. Megan and Matt danced the night away to their favorite tunes along with their friends and family until their getaway. Guests lined the front walk and blew bubbles as they walked out of the house to their getaway car (decorated by the groomsmen). Thanks to Megan, Matt and the lovely mother of the bride for being
an absolute joy to work with!

May 22, 2010 Ringger-Hudson Wedding
The Cannery Ballroom - Nashville, TN
I had the pleasure of working with Matt Hudson & Laura Ringger, a truly unique couple, to help plan and execute their truly unique "theateresque" wedding. They brought
their creative ideas to the table and incorporated theatrical elements into the entire event from the wedding invitations to the fabulous stage adorned with drapery and lights where the couple
said their vows.
Jared Watson and Elena Crowley wanted to have a rustic outdoor wedding and found the perfect venue in Murfreesboro called Canonsburgh Village. This cluster of structures dating back to the early to late 19th century,
had been carefully preserved and brought to this location to form a little "frontier village", the perfect place
for a summer wedding.
Mackenzie Miller and Luke Gustafson chose the War Memorial Building and Legistative Plaza as the
perfect backdrop for their fun, summer wedding. This young couple, graduates of the University of Tennessee, wanted to incorporate
touches of their alma matter into the decor and entertainment with table centerpieces holding sliced oranges, and one-man-band Taul Paul (a Knoxville icon). After a lovely ceremony on the plaza that overlooked downtown Nashville, the "party"
started and lasted well into the night.

This lovely couple said their "I do's" at the beautiful Wrightman Chapel and then traveled by Trolley
to The University Club near Vanderbilt University for an elegant reception. The newlyweds were surrounded by amazing friends and family
who truly made this wedding so fun and memorable. Everyone was dancing all night long and you could just feel the love in the room. I felt honored to
be a part of this wedding.

This one was truly a group effort as the bride's family played a big part in the planning of Ticia and Drew's elegant, country club wedding.
The beautiful greens of the golf course was the backdrop for the ceremony and the reception was held inside.

December 18, 2010 Wilson-Whitaker Wedding
This wedding ranks up there as one of my favorites partly because of the fabulous venue, food and entertainment but mostly because
of the love shared between this couple that was felt in every aspect of their wedding. Julie came to me a month or so before her wedding to enlist me
to direct her wedding reception. I couldn't have asked for a kinder, more gracious bride to work with.
It was the perfect winter wedding with holiday touches
like the wedding party making their entrance with santa hats on (which all of the children were later wearing) to Wes serenading his bride with "Grow Old With You" from the
Wedding Singer. The band Skyline Drive kept the party going as all of the guests danced the night away. You could feel the love in the room and what an honor it was to be part of this wedding.
Thanks Julie and Wes!
